The samples received by ONAB can be used for research programs, in order to identify the genetic cause of a declared disease. The shipment of these tubes implies the breeder's agreement to their use in research programs.

The National Observatory for bovine genetic diseases is looking for confirmed cases of crampy. A case is considered as confirmed if all the following major inclusion criteria are present. Certain minor criteria may also be present.
