Alfort National Veterinary School

The Alfort veterinary school is one of the four national veterinary schools in France. Our school is located south-east of Paris. As a higher education establishment, we provide both teaching and research in veterinary fields.

At ENVA, in order to fulfill our missions, we have a dual anchrage:

  • in agronomy and animal production,
  • in animal and public health.

We are one of the pillars of the biomedical circle in eastern Paris.

Over time, at ENVA we have developed a partnership with the French national agency for environmental and occupational health and safety (ANSES). A large part of our teams from this agency share the same campus.

At ENVA, we maintain close partnerships with many organization and in particular, we are:

  • A founding member of the Community of Universities and Establishments Université Paris-Est,
  • A member of the Ile-de-France Life and Environmental Sciences and Technologies cluster,
  • Co-accredited as a member of the ABIES doctoral school,
  • Associated with the Life Sciences and Health Doctoral School.
